Bellisio Foods and our staff play an active role in numerous civic and community organizations. While the list is long, we are happy to point out a few examples.

Bellisio Foods Scholarship Fund – launched in 2007, this scholarship fund supports all forms of higher education for the children and grandchildren of our employees. The vast majority of our employees are in Appalachian Ohio and we encourage their children’s economic success through a strong education. Feeding AmericaTM – Feeding America, formally Second Harvest Heartland, is the Upper Midwest's largest hunger-relief organization and this year will deliver more than 34 million pounds of food to 950 non-profit member agencies and programs.

Feed the Children® – Since its founding in 1979, Feed The Children has grown into one of the world's largest private organizations dedicated to helping hungry and hurting people. The mission of Feed The Children is to deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster.

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life® – has led the fight against cancer within communities all across the country. As the dream of one individual, Relay for Life is a great example of the impact people can have when they are determined to make a difference. Our employees in Jackson, OH continue to lead the way in being the largest contributor and volunteer base in our home county, year after year.

SIFE® – Students in Free Enterprise is a global nonprofit organization active in more than 40 countries. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are challenged to develop community improvement projects that implement SIFE's five educational topics: market economics; success skills; entrepreneurship; financial literacy; and business ethics.

Flagler College Lectures – The Michelina’s Business Luncheon Series at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL presents some of the nations most respected business leaders with an opportunity to share their vision of business with the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Children's HeartLink – In seeking to prevent, treat and cure heart disease among needy children in developing countries, Children's HeartLink shares our vision of focusing resources where we can make a big difference locally and globally. Through the donation of money, supplies, equipment and volunteer hours Children's HeartLink has partnered with 12 sites in nine countries to deliver annually over 300,000 outpatient visits, 100,000 echo exams and additional procedures that directly affected the lives of children.
